Objectives

  3. It is a measure for parents to bring their children into the state services system so that a child can receive care so they have a better and systematic quality of life. The Child Support Grant can be used to pay for the costs associated with having a [newborn] child whether health, nutrition, clothing, or other items used to stimulate the development of a child.

  4. To encourage newborn and early childhood development which is appropriate for the age of the child. This is fundamental for continued development during other age periods.
